Why Bukayo Saka Was Brought On Late Against Leeds United


Arsenal are through to the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup following a hard battled 1-0 triumph against Championship high-flyers Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium on Monday night.

In a round of two parts, Marcelo Bielsa’s side were superb to watch in the opening 45 minutes yet couldn’t discover a path past goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.

It was an alternate story in the second half as the Gunners kept an eye on up and broke the stop through Reiss Nelson in the 55th moment.

With five minutes of damage time to be played, administrator Mikel Arteta expedited Bukayo Saka as substitution for the energetic Nicolas Pepe.
