Liverpool Breaks Bank For Brazil Goalkeeper, Alisson


Liverpool have broken the bank with a NGN 31bn (£66.8m) bid for the signature of Brazil’s AS Roma goalkeeper, Alisson.

The 25-year-old has only spent two seasons at the Serie A club appearing in 37 games.

Alisson kept the goals for the Selecaos of Brazil in all five games played at the Russia 2018 World Cup.

Alisson’s transfer deal beats the 17 years record set in 2001 after Juventus paid AS Parma 53 million euros for the services of Gianluigi Buffon.

With the offer accepted by Roma, the Premier League club look set for a discussion with the player for on personal terms and agreements.
