Egypt international Mohamed Salah and Liverpool teammate, Sadio Mane, are both listed in a 55-man list for Fifpro World XI.
Salah, earlier in the month of September, was shortlisted in the final top three for FIFA Men’s Best Footballer award.
The Egyptian with his Senegalese mate, Mane, are not the only Liverpool players on the list – Virgil Van Dijk and Dejan Lovren complete a Reds quartet.
FifPro 55-man shortlisted players were selected from 25, 000 votes of footballers from 65 countries.
Voting players were asked to choose the best eleven footballers who excelled in the 2017-2018 season.
They voted for one goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three attackers.
Seven members of the victorious France team at Russia 2018 – Antoine Griezmann, N’Golo Kante, Kylian Mbappe, Benjamin Pavard, Paul Pogba, Samuel Umtiti and Raphael Varane – made the team.
All of Real Madrid’s starting eleven at the 2018 UEFA Champions League Final, made the list.
Despite scoring two goals in the final, Gareth Bale did not make the cut.
