Chelsea forward, Eden Hazard has ruled out the possibility of a January move to Real Madrid.
The Belgium international’s future has been a debate for months with reports of Madrid approaching Chelsea for the 27-year-old with a £70m tender.
Hazard will not go to the Bernabeu despite that being his childhood ambition but he might want to leave Chelsea in the hopes of winning the Ballon d’Or.
He revealed this during a question and answer session with the media, in a chat before Belgium’s game against Switzerland.
Hazard’s contract at Stamford Bridge expires in June 2020. With no prospect of contract renewal, the Blues could be forced to sell in order not to lose the player without any penny made on his head.
